Double Clutching is depressing the clutch the put the car intoneutral, releasing the clutch and then depressing again to put the car into a gear. This allows the transmission and engine to sync up allowing grind free shifts. The Model A is not a syncro transmission as in newer cars. This will also allow you to down shift with out comming to a complete stop. However it will take some practice, Ii am sitll working on it. |
