: I'm re-working the shocks on my '29 phaeton. What kind of fluid should I put in them? On the inner screw-in assembly that supports the shaft and pistons, where should the holewith the small check valve be, or does it matter?. Is there a site on the net with a blow-up of a shock? : Thanks : Dan The small hole should be at about "5 o'clock or 7 o'clock" depending on whether the shock is AC or CW. The notch for the arm will be on the same side as the check valve. There are several exploded views of shcoks in old Restoreres or Model A News. If you can't find one, e-mail me and I will try to scan on in for you. |
