Thank for the advice.

Here's an idea from the September 1995 Restorer's "Patent Cures" article

"There is one technical tip that I have tried that works very well to provide better breaking at the front wheels.

"You see Model A brakes were designed for 60/40 braking favoring the rear wheels, simply because the automotive industry was still skeptical about having brakes on the front wheels (the car might somersault).

"Some years ago I found that if you installed woven lining on the front wheels and molded on the rear you could significantly improve the braking.

"Furthermore if you favor the front brake adjustments, it will further enhance front wheel braking.

"And lastly, when you make the final brake adjustment, allow the wheels to be absolutely free when the brakes are released. This will allow the brakes to cool between applications and they will take hold much better at the next stop."

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks, again...
