Thank you for all your help.Believe it or not, the answer was in my barn.I took out my Tudor today to get it ready for the New England MOdel A meet, and happen to look at the hood.It has the leather corners you describe, exactly.The car is unrestored, and the corners are probably original.I was amazed at how close to the edge they stitched the seam.I got some repros for the roadster pickup, but I think I will make some from leather.
