I read your reply with amazement, Joe.I'd been thinking the same thing!Why doesn't someone make a plastic box that we could put a current Group 1 battery in that would exactly fit the Model A battery holder? It could be made to look exactly like the original battery from the bottom - one would have to look at the battery from the top to see that it was only a shell!
Let's hope that some entrepreneur reads this message board and thinks, "let's see, there are 15000 members in MAFCA and most of them have more than one Model A and then there's MARC and then perhaps 10 times more that don't belong to a club ..." Sounds like a good market to me, eh?
