There is a product on the market I used on my show car called OEM Quick Look. I can't remember where I purchased it (several years ago) but I saw it advertised in Hemmings. Maybe somebody on the board knows the address. This stuff is in a 16 oz. bottle and looks like windshield washer fluid. It is mixed with water (dilute to about 5 to 1 I think) and turns parts raven in about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Throughly dry part and spray with light oil (LPS 3 works best). This is not a permanant rust preventative so its duration is limited. Good luck.
