: I have a Model "B" Engine with the "C" head.The Serial Number on the left side of the block is:5400684325.Can someone decipher this and tell me what this number tells me about the engine.It looks like an awfully long number - is it for real!Most late "A" and "T" numbers only have a maximum of 7 or 8 digets.
The B engine did not have numbers stamped on the boss of the engine where an A has the number.If yours has a number there, it was added later.
