James,
I just came back from Ludwig's Corner Horse & Antique Auto Show in Ludwig, PA.

Roger de Socarras was there with his restored 31 Panel Delivery (GADABOUT).I asked him about the turn signal kit and he showed me the unit installed on his Delivery. You can use your cowl lights and tail lights. If you have no cowl lights, Roger installs two slim amber lights between the front bumper bars. See MARC Model "A" News, November-December 1997 issue, front cover. The slim amber lights are visible next to the outside bumper clamps.

A small switch is mounted on the left dash rail bolt, behind the dash. Just the tip of the switch is visible and the fourway flasher switch is located behind it.It is a little hard to explain because you see nothing inside the passenger's compartment. This is a very nice setup, I will purchase two kits for both of my A's.The slim amber front lights would be better than using the front parking light bulbs.

Good Luck,
Tim Wildey
Wilmington, DE

P.S.The turn signals BUZZ when activated.

: Soon I plan to install turn signals on my 30 town sedan and I noticed an ad for a "turn signal kit" in one of the model Amagazine. It's sold by Roger de Socarras of Revere, PA.
: Cost is $110.Roger says it is a complete kit, works with all voltages and grounds, uses your one filament bulbs, it comeswith a small mini-switch that mounts under dash and only a small tip sticks out. Also includes a separate switch for emerg. flashers and a buzzer to remind you when the turn signals are on. He says no holes need to be drilled.Anyone used this kit?Any feed back or recommendations? This sound much better to me than the large chrome switch that mounts on the steering column.
: Thanks in advance for your assistance.
