: Hi Folks,

: It's almost time to do a final torque on my head nuts. How do I torque the #1 nut just to the side of the distributor?I would think a crow foot wrench with an extension but I'm not quite sure.I really would rather not remove the distributor to do this but I can't get a socket wrench on the nut with it in place. Any and all suggestions appreciated. No profanity please!

: Thank You,

: PSTook the "A" to work today for the first time. The place went nuts.

Kevin...I work at a place that is always nuts...so I drive my car everyday....makes your drive much more fun...anyway..
your idea of the crowfoot is a good one...but your torque reading will be a bit off due to the extension...so torque the other nuts...then with the crowfoot try one of the just torqued nuts...and note the point at which is just starts to move...that will be your new torque with the added crowfoot...I guess there is some sort of new math to figure out the exact torque...but this is what we do in the shop and it works really well...Joel
