: Rick,
The business coupe did not have a metal top, it was cloth. The way to tell the difference was as described in an earlier answer. The metal bar that runs from the top bow to the door post was arched as opposed to the sport coupe which has a mostly straight bar. This bardoes have a slight downward curve right where it fits onto the sport coupe back bow. The two cars are almost identical other than that.Top materials are different kinds of cloth.
: Rick,

: I do have a bunch of pictures.I could email a couple to you (or anyone else interested) but wanted to ask before I clog up your email.i will post if someone tells me how.

: Thanks.

: : Rick,

: : I will take a look at the fatory photo's, thanks.

: : If the business coupe had a steel roof with a cover that answers my question for sure, as there is no sttel in the roof of this car, just fabric over wood boughs.

: : BTW, how the heck do you find time to respond to messages along wiht all the other things you do in "real life" and keep the web sites up (MAFCA, etc)? You are a great assett to the hobby!!!!

: : Thanks.

: : : There are some Ford Factory Photographs of business coupes and sport coupes on the MAFCA site below.Perhaps by comparing the pictures, you can determine what you own.

: : : Note:The Sport Coupe should resemble a cabriolet (convertible fold-down top) except that it doesn't fold down.

: : : A business coupe probably had a rigid metal roof with fabric covering, unlike the all-fabric top of a Sport coupe.

: : : Do you have a photo of your car we can take a look at?

: : : Hope this helps.
