Here's the moment we've been waiting for! The car was stopped and then the tank was turned off.It leaked muck worse than running it dry.After running it dry with the tank off it's been dry for 4 days.The fuel is probably residual vapor working its way back into the carb as suggested by GW, and maybe a little from the sediment bowl fuel line.The moral of the story?Run it dry or carb will cry!
