The Aries is still an excellent quality unit.It just isn't quite as authentic as it once was.The fit is still the same and the baffling and back pressure (therefore sound) is the same as the original.
The stainless ones were initially to long.It appeared they followed the dimensions of the original sections from the drawings but didn't realize there was extra metal to accommodate the method of welding.Also the lenthwise seam of the cannister was not welded.These things may have been corrected, but I wouldn't know.
