It's like anything else it's a matter of finding someone that needs it. I've had spares and gave them away and about 3 years ago my u-joint went out and destroyed the transmission and I found one for $50.00 that was in pretty good shape. I took it apart, cleaned it, inspected it and installed all new bearings and felt like $50.00 was acceptable. Well now I have a couple spares and the value has hit rock bottom again. Good luck. By the way the insides are the same up until around 1947.
