Dual high installation

I have been debateing on installing a dual high in my AA truck.What kind of a job is it to install? Do you just need to remove the floor boards? What about the drive shaft. is this shortened or replaced? I guess I first need to buy one, but have been curious just how this fits in retrospect to the exixting transmission. I have the service manual, Jim Schield's book and the Victor Page book, but dont see how these are installed. Any help with this would be appreciated.
