G'Day carla,
I saw a drawing of the shaft in one of the old Restorer magazines that I'd borrowed from my mate & I'm going down to the club this weekend, so I'll see if I can find it & scan it for you. Hopefully it's one of those that he's got a tag in.

:Yep, that sounds like one good solution, provided the shaft really is .625. I have some good normal steel shafts, I'm more interested in seeing the parts houses carry shafts that will work for everyone!!
