Hey George,

The NU-Rex ignition system and a modern alternator was on my 30 coupe when I bought it.I still think that these were the only 2 things properly done in the previous owners entire restoration process.

I would recommend these additions to anyone with a driver.TheNu-Rex system is not mechanical so there's no need to concern yourself with points, even cam lobes, lubrication...

I just carry a couple extra fuses from Radio Shack just in case, but I've never needed them. The system is also undetectable to all but the real nit picky judgmental types. (You know who you are!)I've even put a new pop out switch placard badge on the conduit where it screws into the distributor. I think it looks very authentic.

The black box mounts in the passenger compartment just under the gas tank virtually out of sight.Just make sure you have a good clean metal area on the firewall to ground the box to. That drove me nuts a year ago when I was new at this stuff.

Even though this system is really reliable, there's nothing quite like being stranded on the roadside scratching your head trying to figure out just why you're car stranded you in the first place! In one year's time you'll be answering these questions just like a pro!

Regards,

Kevin Daly

PS Remember! Spark first, then fuel, then compression!I won't explain, someday you'll understand.
