Larry...sell the V-8 to someone restoring one of those...its a joke in a Model A...honest...you'll be disappointed...I have driven several and there just to big and heavy to produce what you want...also you can never keep em cool...
I put a Pinto 2000 cc engine in my roadster...it was a great engine..did everything well...but had to use a 4:11 rear end to get enough torque...its a fairly easy conversion and makes the car super reliable...
I now have a four cylinder diesel in the roadster...a 90 hp Opel (GM) ..it has bunches of torque and good top speed...really fun a the gas pump...really blows folks minds when you tell them that a Model A will run on anything....even diesel...
