Hi Dan,

Had rusty, heavily pitted engine.

Called 1-800-457-6715 for paint catalog from Restomotive Labs., Inc.

Step 1.Cleaned dense oil residue with Restomotive Labs "Marine Clean".
Step 2.Removed old paint with Wal-Mart paint remover.
Step 3.Sanded rough rusty surfaces, repeated Step 1, andused their preprimer "Metal Ready".
Step 4.Painted first coat with brushed on "Silver POR 15", from Resto Motive Labs, (which contains metal fillersto fill small holes and indentations).(Do not use POR natural bristle paint brushes--they shedbristles--use 50 cents hardware store black synthetic bristle brushes.
Step 5.Painted second coat with brushed on engine paintordered from Bratton's.

Results:No brush marks -- engine looks remarkably great and new.

Also used POR 15 on chasis, axles, transmission and oil pan, (inside & outside), and all rusty metal--works great.

Best wishes,
H. L. Chauvin
