: Hi folks,

: I have the neoprene tipped needle seat in my carburetor but I have a slight drip overnight from the carburetor weep hole. Everything is properly adjusted. It was there from the previous owner's rebuild and still seemed to be quite plyable. I know that the petcock from the gas tank lets some fuel by it even when completely closed. My feeling is that with the gravity system, the pressure of the fuel that passes through the closed petcock is being pushed by the neoprene needle and out the main and cap jets to the weep hole. Can any of you nice folks tell me if this theory makes sense or if you've had a similar experience.I think a petcock rebuild or replacecment would probably eliminate the problem. What do you think. Thanks in advance for the help.

: Regards,

: PS What's the life of these Neoprene tipped needles?
