: Plan on rebuilding the radius ball to its original diameter by welding and then grinding.

: Can anyone provide the original diameter of the ball when it left the factory?

: Any suggestions on how I should do this?

I have a great suggestion:Don't do it.You can exchange your steering arms and pitman arm for rebuilt arms from A&L Parts Specialties, in Canton, CT.They have developed a process that is strong and safe. They have a cutter that removes the ball while leavingthe stud. They then shrink a ball with a hole in it over the stud, and weld it in place.I just got a set for my car, and I have been to the plant to see how this is done. This guy has been making quality model A parts since 1963, and I have known him since 1962.Phone is 860-693-0112, or 860-693-2620
