Dick,
Three Mitchell Overdrives were installed recently by club members in my area and all went without any problems. Two were new installations, one was replacing a Borg Warner unit that had served the owner well for 8 years but finally died at the begining of our last 1000 mile tour.

If your installation is typical, I think you find the removal of the original driveshaft/pinion gear the biggest problem. If you have had the rearend apart with in the last few years you should have no problems, however if its been a whileyou may need a puller.

Good luck.
