I have purchased decent used rearends for $75-100 depending on condition. These units are complete with torq tubes, brake drums, baking plates etc. Some of these are serviceable with some clean-up, and others would need to be reworked at the rear axle bearing surface, which is the area you need to check carefully if you want to use the axle housings. Look at the bottom of the housing which takes all the weight of the Model A, you may find excessive wear on this surface.
