If you're trying to "fix up" your Model A, the owner's manual won't help you much. If you want to learn how to drive it, then get that manual. Reproductions are just fine for that purpose.A couple of good books are out there to help "fix up" your car; Jim Schild's "Model A Restoration Manual" is an excellent book that has a lot of mechanical how-to's. Also useful are the "How to Restore Your Model A" volumes 1 through 5 published by the Model A Ford Club of America (www.mafca.com). Their phone number is 1-888-2MODELA. On that web site are some other Model A reference materials. Most Model A stores carry them. Check out Model A Traders site for a list of Model A suppliers across the country. Their site is:http://www.modelatrader.com. Also, find a local Model A chapter; most members would be glad to give you advice.
