Regarding the dome light in your Deluxe Coupe; I faced the same task with my LeBaron Bonney headliner in my '31 Deluxe Tudor (which uses the same dome light.) I've already installed the headliner ignoring the dome light (although the wires are in place.) I'm going to carefully cut thru the headliner in the center of the mounting block and staple the material to the sides of the hole. I don't trust glue! The staples will also let me get the wrinkles out by gently pulling the fabric into the circle. The dome light should then slide right in and is fastened with wood screws to hold it in place.
