Brian, originally the Model A engines did not have a rear main oil seal. Baffles behind the rear main bearing were intended to keep the oil from leaking. Sometimes the oil return passages will become clogged and stop the oil from draining back into the oil pan properly. If your engine does have a seal, you'll need to try and determine the manufacturer for replacement. Also, parking your A on a slope will cause the rear seal to leak. Good luck, Dave.
