RGP, Probably the best way to get started is to get involved with a local chapter of either of the national Model A Ford clubs. There are a few roadster pickups out there, both in restored, older or newer and in the "rough". If you are really feeling industrious, Brookville Roadster makes a real nice steel reproduction of the roadster pickup in both '28/'29 and '30/31. Then you just need to find a good chassis and get going. The body runs about $2400 but you don't have to worry about rust etc. The complete bed is about $1100 not assembled, but includes everything even the wood. John |
