: : I have a 1930 Fordor under rebilding. My question is how I will know which body type my car have ?

: : Magnus Andersson, Sweden

: The big question is, is it a Briggs or a Murray body.
: Look at the glass in the side window. The murray side window glass has a curve to the top. The briggs side window is flat across the top. No curve.
: Hope this helps.

My car have a Briggs body type. I have also found the car in the book The Model "A" Ford Album , Clymer Publications and according to the book it should be 165-C or -D. But if I read the passenger body types on this web I cant find the 165-D model, 1930 165-C is Murray and if -D is Briggs my car shuld be a 1930 Fordor 165-D Briggs.
