Malcolm,

I do not think that you have an original radiator.

Quoting from the Judging standards.

"The radiators found on 1928-29 modles were supplied by two outside manufacturers in addition to Ford's own production. The core patterns identify the three manufacturers. The Ford core was made up of 94 seamed round tubes set in four rows. The Flintlock core consisted of 100 seamed, round tubes, also in four rows. The McCord core had 87 seamed round tubes set in five rows. The horizontal cooling fins were STRAIGHT. The top tank had a large funnel-type inlet with a clip on each side which served as a hood rest when the hood was up. The overflow pipe was seamed tubing eand ended at the bottom of the radiator.
