: I would like information on the after market overdrive units for my 1930 Ford 'A' Tudor. Where to get them, price, and comments from people that are using them.

Hi! This is my second try at sending a reply. I'm still getting the hang of computers. I have considered adding an overdrive to my 1931 S/W 4-door. It is still off the road and I have not got the cash at this time however, while at Hershey this fall I saaw a real nice nodified Ford 4-speed. It usea an AA bell housing, has a model "A" shift lever mounted in place and turns your "A" into a 4 speed. This seems like a better ideas to me that the overdrive behind the standard transmission which would add another lever on the floor. Poeple tell me that there are advertisers in the Model "A" magazines. As I recall the price was about $1,500. So long.
