Seven Tooth Steering Sector

I'm rebuilding a '29 tudor w a 7Tth Sector. A previous owner pumped it full of grease with a gun. This cured an apparent 600W leak but didn't help steering performance. What is the correct way to seal the bottom end of the 7 th sect? Unfortunately, it appears to be parts missing from the bottom of my column (not to mention my brain).
