1997 MARC National Meet

The theme for this years MARC NATIONAL MEET is "Where Wheels and Wings Meet." It will be held in Dayton ,Ohio from June 23 to June 27. Please see page 9 of the November/December issue of Model "A" News. This year, the Dayton Buckeye Model "A" Ford Club will be putting on the meet. . with our experienced President, Roger Kauffman, in the pilots seat! Our club is planning a meet that you would not believe! Look for complete details in the January/February issue of Model "A" News.
I sat at our regular club meeting the other night listening to all the plans that have been made and it it simply amazing to me what is going to happen! For one thing, we are looking for over 600 Model A vehicles to be there. There will even be Race Cars there! Members learned that area hotels and motels are going fast! Above all, The National 1997 MARC Meet is to be held in Dayton, Ohio and Dayton is the birthplace of aviation. Wright Patterson Air Force Base is within minutes of the Meet Site and believe me, when we say that the theme of this MARC Meet is going to be "Where Wheels and Wings Meet". We are not kidding! Why not plan to come and see what we have planned for you in Dayton?
