: WANT TO PUT A LITTLE 4 CLY ENGINE IN MY 29* BESIDE THE STOCK MOTOR MAYBE A PINTO 2.0 OR 2.3 WITH AUTOMATIC CAN ANYONE HELP WITH CONVERSION THANKS RI I have seen bunches of combinations...even a small diesel..the best is a Pinto 2000cc..as it fits really well..I think Hudson Wagon Works makes a kit..I did my own..using the A flywheel...lightened and redrilled to fit the pinto crankshaft using the A bellhousing and starter..it fits easily and bolts in well..the only problem I found was that the cubic inches are so different that the pinto does not have much torque..so I installed a 4;11 rear end and that solved the problem..I get 25 miles to a gallon...easy starts...no problems and I don't have to worry at all about the engine...I drive mostly flat out...65-70 mph is fine with the pinto..just make sure you use a 1971 pinto...it's 100 hp...72 and 73 only had 85 hp...if you rebuild the engine it is easy to make it 100 hp. or more...lots of parts around for pinto...and cheep..most folks cant tell it's not a stocker...sounds just like stock...only does not have that miserable miss..good conversion...it's a bolt in..almost
