Safety Glass (revisited) 1930 Tudor

I have a 1930 model A tudor and couldn't wait to get home to check my car after reading the postings about safety glass a week or so ago.Our car was earmarked for export so the chances are it would not have had the window safety glass that was sold as an extra. Sure enough the car has plate glass in the doors and quarter windows! I don't yet know about the windscreen. There is a chance it is plate glass too!
I'm having trouble getting the two quarter windows #A-56780 out. Trim, regulators and triangular plates are off. What now?
Do I have to remove the upper moulding above the windows?
I am reluctant to subject the car to any unnecessary works.
Thanks in advance to anybody who has "been there and done that" who can provide help. It will be most appreciated.
