I installed an electrical disconnect switch on my A a few months ago.It attaches to the battery terminal and has a knob that you twist. It worked great when my A developed a short and does make me feel better when I park in a parking lot or bust street. It's only about 10 bucks and is accessed through the battery cover in the floor board.
