I have seen the disconnect switches mounted on the rear motor mount next to the starter, but I am not sure how it is actually fastened.

: I have decided to install an electrical disconnect switch on my A.Most of the A's I have seen and the parts catalogs show the switch mounted on the firewall.I would like to keep the switch inconspicuous.Mike's A Ford-Able Parts suggests mounting the switch in front of the seat riser on the steel (body ?) cross member.It looks like I will need to drill away some wood under the member to make the switch fit.What do the pro's recommend ??
