: Can you Provide an adress or phone #. I have nothing... nothing to rebuild only a frame w/o shocks or links or any other hardware.... fairly soon I'll need them. All Ive ever seen is some catalog listings that suggesst shocks & attaching hardware will cost about $750 for four. is this what to expect or is there a better price to hope for?

Steve: Shock absorbers are expensive but they do vastly improve ride quality and as Marith McCoul suggests, makes life for your springs a whole lot easier. Snyder's Antique Auto Parts in Ohio 330-549-5313 sellls the good M & S shocks. You will need 4 shocks @ 105.00, 4 shock arms @ $21.95, a set of shock arm bolts @ $3.40, a set of shock to frame bolts @ $3.95 and 4 shock links @ $15.00 for the original tubular type or $4.60 for the "dog bone" type. That is about $576.00 plus tax and shipping for the original type links or about $534.00 with the non-original links. NOT CHEAP! I have seen rebuilt shocks at swap meets for $50 - $60. You can't always be sure how good these are.
