MF-1 Head

What do you know about a Model A head with the letters, "MF-1" cast on the surface?It was on an engine I got in a trade and appears to have been run for several miles.I do know that the volume of the combustion chamber is about 30 ML less that that of a regular head. (using very rough measurments of water volume)
