About the only thing to tell you at this point is that the serial number A-2127357 was produced during August 1929.
There was an article written by Enrique Klein of Los Altos, CA in the May/June 1992 issue of "The Restorer" about "The Non-Automotive Engine" but with the number you have there it appears it was probably originally a car engine that was later taken out and used for another use.
I'm afraid this doesn't tell you much about the history of the engine, I guess I thought you were looking for engine specifications rather details about this particular engine.
