Joe,
I'm only speaking from experience, chemical is great for derusting but can give trouble in the tiny areas like those of the window or folds in the panels because it hard to get a good flow. Make sure whoever you chose that they do nuetralize these areas throughly. Even then I flush with warm soapy water then follow with the prepping process. This may not be the only or the best way but it has worked for me so far.
What happens if this isn't done, the chemicals will continue to eat at the metal and come to ruin your paint.
Good luck,
GW
: I am considering having my doors ('29 CC Pickup) chemically stripped and derusted.
: Does anyone know of a Chemical Stripping/Derusting service similar to Redi-Strip in the New England area?
: Any recommendation or experiences, bad or good, in this regard.
