Providing you don't have any broken blades/leaves & the measurements mentioned by Emeric are OK then the spring's useable. If it needs resetting, a springsmith will be able to re-set & re-temper it. A couple of tips before assembly, grind ,or even better, with a carborundum sanding disc, sand chamfers onto the spring blade ends where they contact the blade below & sand out any indentations worn into the spring blades by the action of the blade above it, then assemble with a new centre bolt & with a smear of a graphite type grease between each blade.
