I also have a '31 Model "A" Pickup, Indented firewalls were not made until late '31.The 31 radiator newshell is unique in that it has an insert at the top which is painted the body color, also the running board splash aprons above the running boards are one piece instead of 2 pieces another feature unique to 31.Another good publication is the "Model A Ford Judging Standards & Restoration Guidelines" published jointly by the Model "A" Restorers Club and the Model A Ford Club of America.Your engine number is indeed a Jun. 1931 engine, however is it original to the vehicle?
