Glenn,
For that long of a trip, enclosed trailer. I've seen a lot damage from open haulers with shorter trips. Yes, insurance is good to have, There is a chance it could be stolen or vandalized. Hemmings advertises companies specializing in hauling so you would have a choice to shop from.
