: : : : I need at least one, possibly two wheels for my 1928 Tudor. : : : : (I haven't seen any in Hemmings.) Does anyone know of a source? I have 3 great to good wheels, and a very rough 4th. : : : : I was told that body filler on a badly pitted wheel won't hold up. Is there a way to restore the wheel, ie. fill the pits, that will stand up to road service? Or should I just use body filler and hope I never need the spare. The wheel is structurally sound, but looks like it has been around since 1928...rough. : : : I have one maybe two AR wheels...in northern Calif.... I won't be able to check until mid-December...when I go on Christmas Vacation...I think they are in good shape..I will sell them for $75. each...if your interested let me know. : Joel I am interested. I've seen the terms "AR" "B" and others but haven't seem much published as far as how to definativly differentiate between all the types. What I need are the small hub-capped,(4.40-5.25), 21" rim. I am fairly sure I have them....under the deck at my cabin in Northern California...where are You? my e-mail is jrapose@west.net and my home number is 805-987-1750...it probably will be the third week of December...I can call you from the cabin...no computer up there though....thanks Joel |
