The "B" engines aren't "Pressurized" in the strict sense, but do have direct feed from the oil pump to the main bearings. The rods are splash lubed same as "A"s. The big difference in the "A" and "B" is the main and rod journal diameters which are much larger in the "B".A "B" crank won't fit between the Main cap bolts in most "A" blocks without some journal reduction. '33 and '34 "B" engines are counterbalanced, '32s aren't.There were three different cranks: I believe the "B" pump is essentially identical to the "A" pump, but for better flow, the shaft necked down like the early "A" shafts even though the housing bore is large like the later "A" units.
