: Were there really any 2 door sedan "deluxe" models produced? All I get are conflicting answers..........

Here's the straight stuff on Deluxe Tudors. As Marco and Joe indicated, the Deluxe Tudor was introduced in mid-1931 and about 22,000 were produced.I own one.I also organized the Deluxe Tudor Sedan Owners Group of MAFCA in 1994 - we have located about 80 "real" Deluxe Tudors.

The main difference was in the interior; the exterior differences between a Standard and Deluxe 1931 Tudor were that the Deluxe had cowl lights (the Standard could have had them dealer added) and the Deluxe Tudors had deluxe paint combinations (like the Victoria and Town Sedans) - although not all the same colors. For example, Maroon and Black was available on Deluxe Tudors but not on Standards. Also the Deluxe Tudors had colored wheels standard, usually matching the stripe. Although the Standard had the same stripe, they were factory supplied with black wheels.

Interiors were very different. The Deluxe had the same kind of interior as a Victoria - adjustible driver's seat, arm rests and assist straps in the back seats, deluxe upholstery materials (mohair or bedford cord), carpets front and rear, dome light, etc.

If you'd like more info, please e-mail me with any specific info.I've owned my car for 30 years and have had lots of time to research them!
