Model A Ford Foundation

I have a great curiosity about the Model A Ford Foundation. They apparently have a project underway to scan all the Ford archived engineering drawings that are on microfilm at Dearborn to electronic files. In addition to being a Model A fanatic, I make my living as a consulting engineer using computers and CAD software.I have tried to contact the MAFFI via email with only returned mail for my efforts.I talked with the wife of one gentleman involved (a very nice lady) but as yet have not heard from anyone with definitive information,
I would like to know the status of the project, the type of electronic files that are being created, whether the files will/are readily available to Model A people, and if there is anything I can do to help.Imagine having the original engineering drawing available on your computer!! no guessing about how the part should look/measure.It would be really helpful to an accurate and durable restoration job.If any one has info please email me at "swat@servtech.com" or post info here on Dale's great board. This project is one that everyone who loves Model A's should support. With the drawings available .... no more guessing what's wrong with that repro part!!!!
Thanks in advance.
Steve
