In addition to what Marco has already provided, let me suggest that if you do go with the repro gears you should change both the worm and sector gears. Some of the repro worm gears for the seven tooth require that the steering shaft be turned on a lathe.Also, some folks use grease in the steering boxes which will only cause wear problems as it does not flow throughout the box. Even though there may be a grease fitting on the steering box it should get the 600W oil. I think Ford used a special gun to install the 600W oil.
