Location of Body Tags

Someone E-mailed me wanting to know where to find the brass body tags I mentioned in the "body number identification" post I made on 12/27. The tags are located in one of three places that I know of. The 1929's are located under the front carpet on the right side just above the door sil plate, or about 12 inches from the right door on the wood cross frame member just in front of the front seat. The 30/31 cars all appear to be on the right side of the firewall by the data plate. There may be other locations I don't know about but these are the only places I have found them. Also, many cars no longer have these plates for some reason. Either they were removed or never had them.
