: I heard that Towe had closed and their cars auctioned off.Am I thinking of some other museum?

Your thinking of the right museum and so was I until I went back there last week. Offically it's the Towe Museum (delete the Ford) but its anything but closed. While true some of the Fords are no longer on display, most still are. I understand that although many were sold, some have a contract with the museum to continue their display for 2 or 3 more years.

Personally I was sad to hear of their auction earlier this year, But was delighted to see the place now. There were Pierce Arrows (3), Studebakers (antique), Marmon (Roosevelt), Willys Overland, plus others including most of the Fords. They now have a theater(for Plays) and during the holiday season sereval strolling singers singing.
