I dont know what your state is or how they do it but in AZ all you have to do is have M.V.D. inspect the car and they do a title search to see if there is a regesterd owner still on file if not you just get a bonded title , if so you have to get the last owner to apply for dupcilate title and sign it over to you, either way it isent very hard just takes a little time
